"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived."
–General George S. Patton
Memorial Day is an opportunity to ruck for those who have served to preserve our freedom and paid the ultimate sacrifice...America’s Fallen. We build bridges between the civilian and military worlds at GORUCK, and Cadre and Ruckers alike are expected to bring a photo and a story of someone who lost their life during their service to our country. Never Forget.
Fagan grew up in Upstate SC and retired there in 2004 after 20 great years in the Special Forces. He has been teaching High School JROTC since retirement. Started doing GORUCK events and OCRs in 2012 after 8 years of rugby. He still enjoys the outdoors, humping a ruck, and getting muddy with any obstacle course race.
