The volume of work is enormous. The weight is unforgiving. The movements don’t stop. But you have your teammate, you have yourself, and you have something to prove.
Team Assessment requires grit, determination, and the intestinal fortitude to keep going — harkening back to our roots at Special Forces Assessment and Selection.
Weight standards in your rucksack is as follows: Everyone: 30 lbs dry (minus water and food)
This is a competitive team event. All iterations will be scored by the Cadre and one team will win the event.
If you begin in a team and your teammate drops, you will be allowed to continue solo, or formed into a hybrid team (if there is another solo participant) at the Cadre’s discretion. Teams can only be two people; there will be no three person teams. Weighted movements will be scaled to any solo participants in a very fair way by the Cadre.
If you are unable to find a teammate to do the event with, you are authorized to show up to the start point solo. The Cadre will assign you a teammate if there is another solo rucker. If there is not, you will begin the event solo. If individual teammates (from other teams) drop from the event, you will be assigned a new teammate and form a hybrid team.
The winning team must start and finish the entire event together. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place patches for those who place. All others who complete the volume of work outlined by the Cadre will earn finisher patches. They will never be for sale.
