The Las Vegas Scavenger is a team event lasting five hours where you are part of a team that rucks to nostalgic landmarks in Las Vegas. Teams will be given a hit-list to complete with other physical activities and will have five hours to complete the list. All participants that finish will be eligible for a GORUCK gear raffle as well as a one-time use 10% discount code towards GORUCK gear. Participants that completed all three GORUCK events (Lake Mead GORUCK Tough, Red Rock GORUCK Basic and the Las Vegas Scavenger) event will have their one-time use GORUCK code upgraded to 35% off GORUCK gear. - A rucksack aka backpack (GR1 or Rucker recommended)
- Water
- Lickies and chewies, though you can stop for food whenever you want
- Hydration Source: Source 3L Bladder or Nalgene bottle
- Comfortable clothing and footwear
- One form of identification and pocket money (just in case)
- Smart phone
- A smile. Of course.

Cadre Dan….Jason McCarthy handed Dan his first GR1 in February of 2011 full of bricks wrapped in a towel. Since then Dan has been pounding pavement and building better Americans as Cadre for GORUCK. Every once in a while, he comes up with a half decent idea that GORUCK uses to keep Dan happy. Fueled by Copenhagen, Coffee and pure aggression (staples in 3rd SFG) Dan loves storytime during events and doing anything outside.
