Thursday, October 15, 2020 18:00Precision Rifle covers the techniques required to achieve first-round hits out to 800 meters and beyond under a variety of conditions and distances. Range estimation, scope adjustment and zeroing, minute of angle theory, external ballistics and weather effects among other topics will be covered. You’ll be instructed in shooting unknown distances, low light shooting, Mil-dot and MOA reticals, use of data books and more by our Cadre. Target engagements will be made at both known and unknown distances out to 1000 yards using the techniques covered. Participants will be in shooter/spotter teams.
Participants who complete this course with Cadre Machine will be eligible for a non-resident concealed weapons permit. These permits are valid for a term of 7 years in 36 states.
The duration of this course is 20 hours: Day 1- 4 hours (classroom); Day 2- 8 hours (shooting range); Day 3- 8 hours (shooting range).
Due to the space and safety requirements needed to conduct these events the ranges may be up to a two hour drive from the city listed. Please keep this in mind when making lodging arrangements.
What to Bring
- Masks (2 minimum) Something that will not repeatedly fall off (scarves not recommended, N95’s not required -- save them for healthcare workers)
- Hand Sanitizer/Wipes - 1 bottle Purell, 1 package of baby wipes (or equivalent)
- Zeroed Rifle
- Eye Protection (sunglasses are acceptable)
- Electronic Hearing Protection
- Water, food, snacks (for duration of course)
- Closed-toed shoes (MACV-1 Boots recommended)
- Semi-automatic or Bolt action Rifle
- Match Grade Ammo X 200 rounds
- Scope
- Shooting mat or pad
- Sling for Rifle
- Bipod for Rifle
- Notebook, pen or pencil
- Shooting sock
- Scope/shooting glass
- Photo ID

Additional Information
- Shooters who display weapons proficiency will by challenged by the Cadre to increase their skill level by various methods. This will not have an impact on the overall conduct of the class.
Event Cancellation Policy
- Refunds are not allowed for this event
- Transferring registration to a different participant is not allowed
- Store credit in the amount paid for the registration will be issued if requested more than 30 days before the event (NO EXCEPTIONS)
