Force on Force is a unique and rare opportunity to experience what might actually happen in a lethal force encounter. Anybody can be fast and accurate with enough time spent on the flat range, but that doesn't mean you have what it takes to win the encounter with a determined adversary. Force on Force is the ultimate opportunity to test yourself against your fellow gunfighters. You will face scenarios in which you will be individually forced to make shoot/no shoot decisions and negotiate firing in crowded situations, such as public places or home invasions. Your Cadre will test your tactics, mindset, and decision-making in a safe and exciting learning environment.
Participants who take a Force on Force course taught by Cadre Machine will be eligible to earn the two most coveted resident or non-resident concealed carry licenses; Florida’s Concealed Weapon License and Utah’s Concealed Handgun Permit. Owning both empowers the user to carry in 39 states. The 11 states not included are California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Oregon, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. Moreover, based on current Federal draft legislation, Utah’s permit is currently the only one that meets the proposed stringent background check requirements for national reciprocity.
Students are not required to bring any weapons with them to this event. All weapons will be provided to the participant. Force on Force utilizes Simmunition Glock 17 weapon systems.
Force on Force is an advanced course, not recommended for beginners. We recommend the Active Shooter Intervention - Pistol course prior to Force on Force if you are a beginner.
Due to the space and safety requirements needed to conduct these events the ranges may be up to a two hour drive from the major city listed. Please keep this in mind when making lodging arrangements.
The duration of this course runs 8-10 hours.
All GORUCK Firearms Courses and Events utilize scenario based training which is incorporated into dry practice prior to any live fire. All participants will practice target identification and discrimination, movement, weapons manipulation, and other dynamic drills with the cadre and others. These drills will be facilitated with inert weapons enabling a safe and realistic training environment. Both pistols and rifles will be rendered inert with barrel/chamber blocking plugs. Further, each student must fully participate in dry practice prior to commencing live fire.
