Self Responder is a trauma centric first aid course that will teach you the skills needed to save your life and the lives of others after a potentially fatal incident. Traumatic injury is one of the leading causes of death for people under 50 in the US. A significant portion of those deaths are from severe bleeding – a preventable cause of death due to trauma. This class will use simunition pistols and moulage to simulate scenario based training. This is a scenario based course.
This course is meant for participants of all skill and fitness levels. Firearms, live weapons, or blades are not required for this course.

Cadre Heath
Heath is a US Army Special Forces Green Beret with 26 years of extensive overseas experience and expertise in Special Operation missions, to include Counter-Terror, Sniper, Direct Action, and Hostage Rescue operations. He planned and executed hundreds of successful combat missions throughout numerous deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Philippines Syria and other areas around the world. He served on various types of Special Operation Teams, to include the Sniper Team in the 1st Special Forces Group, Commander’s In-extremis Force (CIF), an assaulter on a small Special Missions Unit team, and the Team Sergeant for two Operational Detachment-Alphas (ODAs). Currently, he works as a DOD contractor embedded within tactical units. Heath loves America, doing tough things, teaching tactics, and hanging out with badass Americans.
