Start Point

Your start point will be posted to this page and emailed to you at least one week before the event date.

Leave the Iron Age behind. Proven on the battlefield and in competition, there is no longer any debate that a Red dot makes for faster, more accurate shots over iron sights. Take your shooting to the next level with the course built specifically around this major advancement in firearm technology.

Have you seen the light? Maybe you’ve already made the leap to Red dot sights but are wondering “Can I acquire the dot even faster?” and “Is it possible to stay in the fight if my optic goes down?” Either way, be prepared for an eye opening experience with the course designed, and taught by, those who have staked their lives on this technology. Proper zeroing of your sight, “both eyes open” shooting, how to set up and use a magnifier, alternate aiming techniques, low light techniques and achieving accuracy at distance up to 300- 400 yards will all be covered.

The Designated Marksman course is not recommended for beginners. We recommend the Counter Active Shooter (Rifle- Day) prior to Designated Marksman if you are new to the rifle shooting community. This course will instill a better understanding of the trajectory of your round and how it is affected by the distance your rifle is zeroed. Furthermore this course will help you apply that knowledge in rapidly engaging targets at varying distances.

Due to the space and safety requirements needed to conduct these events the ranges may be up to a two hour drive from the city listed. Please keep this in mind when making lodging arrangements.
