Join GORUCK and the Green Beret Youth Initiative in celebrating 5 years of empowering youth to discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and grow into leaders who succeed in life and serve their communities.
We will be hosting 2 divisions of our City Ruck Events:
- 5K City Ruck: Family Friendly 5K around St. Louis, MO
- 12 Miler City Ruck - The standard rucking test for the participants that are looking for a little more of a challenge.
Let's celebrate in GORUCK-style.
All proceeds will be donated to GREEN BERET YOUTH INITIATIVE.

GORUCK is The Rucking Company and we have executed over 10,000 rucking events since 2010, empowering a global community of ruckers. The City Rucking Series is a great way to join GORUCK Nation, to meet people who live our way of life, and to explore your city or a new one on foot.
HOW IT WORKS
At the start point, your Cadre will give you the waypoints/points of interest that comprise your route. A quick route navigation on your phone and then you’ll get going. When you successfully complete your City Ruck, your GORUCK Cadre will hand you a cold beverage and a patch that will never be for sale.

TIME STANDARD
You have 2.5 hours to successfully complete your City Ruck 5K and earn the patch.
You have 5 hours to successfully complete your City Ruck 12 Miler and earn the patch.
Change within communities begins with the support of the individual: problem-solving, decision-making, and assertiveness competencies, which will lead to behaviors that influence the attitudes and norms of the communities as a whole. With heart and dedication within our after-school and weekend programs, the Green Beret Youth Initiative STL empowers kids to make a change in their lives and communities.
