Veteran Suicide Prevention

Sara Wilkinson and GORUCK present the hero workout “Chad” - in honor of Navy SEAL Chad Wilkinson who took his life on October 29, 2018 due to the effects of numerous deployments, several TBIs, blast wave injuries and PTSD. Our goal is to honor Chad’s life and legacy and to raise awareness for suicide prevention.

Last year’s Chad 1000X event saw 4,500+ registered participants (with over $100K raised) looking to be a part of something greater than themselves. To not only bring awareness to the epidemic of suicide, particularly among veterans, but also to help be part of the solution through the support to the Navy SEAL Foundation and other veteran health initiatives.

THE WORKOUT

1000X Step Ups completed for time. For participating in:

All proceeds of the CHAD 1000X fundraiser will go to support Veteran Mental Health Initiatives. 50% of the proceeds will go to the Navy SEAL Foundation and 50% will pass through the GORUCK Foundation to The Step Up Foundation (0% allocated to overhead) which, in conjunction with Sara Wilkinson, will provide financial support to other nonprofits dedicated to Veteran Mental Health initiatives.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Participants will need to have a copy of their CHAD1000x registration to gain entry
• Event gates will open at 8:30AM followed by a briefing at 8:45AM
• Event will start at 9:00AM sharp and have a time cap of 1 hour
• Deadline for registration to receive the 3-day ticket to Rogue will be Wednesday (10/27) at 12:00PM
• Deadline for registration to receive the 2-day pass will be Friday (10/29) at 12:00PM
