"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."
– President John F. Kennedy
Veterans Day is the occasion to honor those who signed a blank check to America. The action to the words “Thank You for your Service” is rucking around your city, learning about Veterans, and performing a Service Action in your community. Cadre and Ruckers are expected to bring a picture and bio of someone who served. Cadre will provide the opportunity for you to tell their story and honor those who have served.
Pain is the theme of all GORUCK Challenges. Our Special Forces Cadres will ensure it’s pain with purpose by pushing individuals out of their comfort zones and building each class into a team. Train hard and show up ready. It’s worth it.
Born a Canuck in Montreal, Canada. Sarkis grew up overseas, spending time in West Africa and Saudi Arabia. After becoming a man, he decided to join the United States Army. His first job was a mechanic, more commonly referred to as a Grease Monkey, in military motor pool terms. He wanted more of a Challenge and became a Green Beret. After spending over 6 years working with some of the best operators in the world, he now teaches the future of Special Operations Medics as a Cadre at the Special Warfare Center school house. When he gets free time, he spends it with his family.
