Tribe is about pushing and challenging yourself as part of something bigger than yourself — so that you can lead from the front and serve others better. The theme of MMXXI (aka 2021) is SEEK PAIN. The Cadre’s job is to make sure there’s plenty of it to go around.
Most importantly, this weekend is a reunion of like-minded people. Some people like to go to conferences to meet people. We like to seek pain together all around GORUCK HQ, then burn it down at the after party. This is the first annual.
This Tribe Reunion weekend will feature a lot of camaraderie, the patches you earn -- and all participants who complete either event will receive a special patch (circular 3” GORUCK Tribe / SEEK PAIN) in addition to the patches you earn per event.
And yes, the increased Ruck Plate standards (45/30) are for real. Train harder and we’ll see ya soon.
Pain is the theme of all GORUCK Challenges. Our Special Forces Cadres will ensure it’s pain with purpose by pushing individuals out of their comfort zones and building each class into a team. Train hard and show up ready. It’s worth it.
Jason started GORUCK so Monster could fulfill his destiny to become President of GORUCK Nation. And yeah, Lion King eat your heart out.
Ranger Bat, endurance events, and the life of a Green Beret made Mocha the million dollar man. As in, that's how much hardware he has in him. He loves his family, long walks with the four legged kids and 8-shot mocha's!
Dan spent his formative years chasing the thrills in the fluid environment of Special Operations. He attempted to calm the chaos of an ever-evolving battlefield armed with a radio, a positive mental attitude and a strong cup of coffee. His three primary mission sets now consists of keeping up with one lucky lady, a feisty daughter and a sweet Rhodesian Ridgeback named Maya. Dan maintains and teaches a “ready for whatever” level of fitness. He finds, fixes and finishes the best chow possible in the most exotic locations. He respects hard workers, risk takers, and those willing to take on arduous and entertaining experiences.
Cody likes to think of himself as a door-kicker turned hippie. In his free time, he is probably out paddle boarding, drinking kombucha, or enjoying an ice cold nitro cold-brew (possibly all at the same time).
Spent 14 years in Army Special Operations and is now a Washington Bureaucrat continuing to contribute to our Nation's Defense! Father of 5 awesome young adults and living life to the fullest.
